Alexander McQueen Scarves? Yes Please!

Long live McQueen and his iconic skull scarves! Seen on every celebrity and fashionista, these silk scarves can be incorporated into any outfit at any season. The skull print just adds the perfect touch of drama to any outfit. I've also seen these worn in the hair as a headband, super cute!

Relax, go shopping, and have an amazing day guys!

Versace RTW Spring 2010

Sexy cut-outs, flirty pastel colours, geometric patterns, and mini skirts. What's not to love about Versace's RTW Spring 2010 collection? I know it's not terribly recent, but I always have a moment looking back at it. While I'm not too fond of the prints, I absolutely love the mini skirts and dresses.

How amazing are these mini skirts? I especially love the metallic triangle one; it's definitely bold but paired up with a simple long sleeve, it's totally wearable and glamorous.

These mini dresses are so funky with their geometric prints! Love the recurring theme of the metallic triangles seen in Nastha's dress.

And last but not least, my definite favourites of this wonderful collection, the dresses!
How beautiful are these? I love the pastel colours, the hints of metallic and the sexy slits.

I'm telling you, pictures do not do these dresses justice! The sides of this dress are very low cut and more of those metallic triangles decorated the daring slits.

This has to be one of my favourite dresses I have ever seen, and I've oogled over a lot. Again, pictures do not do it justice. The back is low cut, there are side cut-outs, a huge slit for some sexy leg, and all while being adorned more with those darn metallic triangles that I love! I can't explain it, but something just really draws me to this dress. Perhaps how smooth and silky it looks, and the arrangement of the triangles is unique and pretty, but not distracting. It's one of those dresses I will wistfully dream of wearing to prom but sadly won't happen.

Just Fine!

One of my favourite songs to get ready to is Mary J Blige's, Just Fine. It's perfect to blast when you need a pick me up because it's so uplifting. For me, this optimizes getting ready to go out on a Friday night. Just take a look at some of the lyrics! How could you not feel happy when listening to this amazing song?

It's been a long week I put in my hardest
Gonna live my life, feels so good to get it right

No time for moping around, are you kidding,
and no time for negative vibes cus I'm winning

And I'm a still wear a smile when it's raining
I got to enjoy myself regardless
I appreciate life, I'm so glad I got mine

You see, I won't change my life, my life's just fine

Check it out guys, it'll instantly put you in a better mood :)

All Was Well

In honour of my most favourite series, Harry Potter and how it has come to an end, here's a post dedicated to one of my favourite characters, Hermione Granger. Portrayed by the beautiful Emma Watson, she proves that it is definitely possible to be both smart and beautiful. She's landed a couple of major ads for Burberry and People Tree and managed to juggle her famous life while studying at an Ivy League school. Not to mention that she can totally rock a pixie cut that shows off her gorgeous facial structure. One of my favourite looks from her was the premier for the first part of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

I'm in love with the lace, the feathers and how it's see through but still classy. It's definitely different than what Emma would usually wear and I love it!
Her makeup is not over done, and her pixie cut is just so cute! Not a lot of women can pull off hair that short and make it look so beautiful.

Ouff, how gorgeous is this Oscar de la Renta dress for the London premier of Deathly Hallows Part 2?
Even though the tulle gown was huge, it did not overwhelm her and it was in the loveliest shade of grey.

Usually matching your eyeshadow to your outfit would totally clash but her smokey grey eyes just..work! The added gold liner is so subtle but pulls it all together. Not to mention I love how her hair has grown in.

Brb while I mourn over the end of this amazing series!

Love The Way You..Look!

Oh Rihanna, even though I can't stand her music, I adore her style, especially her piercings and tattoos. Having 7 piercings myself, she totally makes me want to get my tragus pierced because her stud is so subtle and precious.

I'm in LOVE with her all earrings, they are something I would totally wear.

I NEED these wing earrings in my life. Seriously, she has the best jewerly.

Taking some classic pearls to a whole new level of sexiness

All in all, I find her to be a risk taker with her style. It's sexy, edgy, and most of all, never boring.

Model Crush of the Moment!

Standing at 5'9 with stunning grey/blue alienesque eyes, perfectly chiseled cheekbones, and a lithe ballerina body, Anna Selezneva, a Russian native is definitely one of mine and the industry's favourites. Discovered only about 4 years ago, she quickly rose to the top in the fashion indsutry, landing numerous covers, walking for Chanel, Dior, Valentino, Balmain, the list goes on. She was even declared as one of the top 30 models of the 2000's. Oh and have I mentioned that she has the cutest Russian accent?! She seems so kind and funny in her interviews as well.

Her look is so versatile, from sweet,
(btw how adorable does she look in this hoodie? so casual but still stunning!)

to sexy

Here are some more pictures of this beautiful babe;

One of my favourite looks from Balmain, oh man that jacket..

She comes oh so close to being my favourite Russian model, second to Natasha Poly of course ;) I'll have a post about her later, so until then, thanks for reading and take care loves!

A Girl Can Dream Right?!

I'm trying to focus on my homework but all I can think about is how badly I need a pair of Alexander Wang's Freja booties in my life. Lets all take a moment and appreciate these beauties shall we?

I think they can be worn at any time of the year and with virtually anything. They instantly add a glam rock feel to any outfit and I think they'd be super cute with some ripped skinnies and layers of jewerly.

Check out these celebs who have been seen rocking these.

Miley keeping it casual while Nina dresses it up for the Kid's Choice Awards.

Have I mentioned that I love Rihanna's style? Her music, unfortunately not so much..

Make-Up Music. Track #1

Okay, so its not all make-up music, but I needed a catchy title! Admittedly, this track might be sort of old, but it reflects the mood I'm in when I see new fashion. It just gets me excited and this song really highlights that. While I can't say its exactly good to listen to this while trying to calmly put on eyeliner, it really does get you going. I simply love Ellie Goulding and the Dubstep really adds a flair to it! If you're of those people that are really drawn to music, then this track will definitely brighten your day! Have a listen and enjoy! (:

Hello There!

ENJOY!!! (:

Dolce & Gabbana, Always a Winner!

Dolce & Gabbana never fails to swoon me with their sensual and feminine clothes. Their spring/summer 2011 collection has just got to be one of my favourites. I don't even know where to being, even thinking about it makes me so excited. I simply loved the everything about this colletion. From the soft updos all the model's sported, to romantic silhoutte outlined with intricate lace detailing.. what more can I say? Simply breathtaking! I saw a quote somewhere that summed up this collection as, "a romantic picnic in Sicily." I loved how their fabric literally looked like it could have been taken from a lacey tablecloth or curtain and it was tailored to perfection.

Please, do yourself something good today and watch this collection.

Everything from the music, Natasha's first face, the make up and chunky white platform shoes just makes me want to hop on a plane to Southern Italy asap!

Sexiness in an understated way that we do not often see nowadays.

What the F-eathers?

Incase you haven`t noticed, feathers are a huge trend for this spring. Open any fashion magazine and you`ll see these whimsical accessories on the glossy pages. They can be incorporated into ones outfit many different ways such as;

Hair extensions. Seen on Aria from Pretty Little Liars, I think feather hair extensions are either a hit or miss with most people. They can be cute and add a boho flair to any hairdo, or simply look tacky. Just like any clip on hair extension, these can be clipped and removed to easily. Save yourself a trip to the salon and buy them at Sephora.

If adding parts of a rooster into your do isn`t your thing, but still want to follow this trend, try looking into feather accessories such as earrings and necklaces. You can find them just about at ANY store and they are fairly inexpensive. It's a great way to add different textures into your spring outfit.

I picked the brown ones up at Aldo for only $10!

and for those who REALLY love feathers, I present to you, Salvatore Ferragamo's Pheasant Feather Bag.

First Post! Yay! Dsquared2 Looks to be a Trendsetter this Spring!

I’m sitting here trying to think of a witty introduction about myself and this article but nothing is coming to mind. What can I say? I’m here writing this because I simply adore fashion. Nothing gets me more excited than seeing the kind of glamorous and extravagant clothes designers send down the runaway and DSquared2’s women’s spring/summer 2011 collection did just that. Hailing from Toronto, Canada, (represent!) twin brothers, Dean and Dan created some beautiful pieces for this flirty collection. This whole gender defying collection looks put together by feminine and confident women, minus the effort. The androgynous suits paired beautifully with the gowns in a look that was tied together by those large, round and black framed glasses that scream personality and style.

Sasha looking cute as a button in her suit!

I still can’t get over how good Anna Selezneva looks in this backless, white, tuxedo inspired vest. Love the lace detailing!
